The Detroit Zoo’s annual “merry-not-scary” Zoo Boo celebration features a festively decorated trick-or-treat trail through the front of the Zoo.

Live, friendly entertainment awaits your costume-clad little ones including the Zoo Boo Revue live stage show.  More exciting entertainment awaits you than ever before.  New acts include magicians, street performers, and more extreme pumpkin carving demonstrations.  Be sure to stop by the Haunted Reptile House and visit the ghosts and goblins that have made the Holden Reptile Conservation Center their home for the holiday season.  And don't miss the eerie Zombie Zone, sponsored by Tim Hortons Café and Bake Shop and the Creepy Craft, sponsored by Blue Care Network.

New this year for the older ghosts and goblins, enter the Enchanted Forest where you’ll be met with spooky thrills that will be sure to delight – and maybe even fright! The Enchanted Forest is an additional $2 per person.

Take a ride on the wild side at the Wild Adventure Zone’s 4-D Theater feature “The Wizard of Oz”, a limited time engagement only in October for an additional $5 per person. Tickets for the 4-D Theater may be purchased online or at Guest Relations at the front of the Zoo in advance or on the night of the event.Zoo Boo will be held on the evenings of October 9-11, October 16-18 and October 23-25, 5 to 8 p.m., rain-or-shine.

Zoo Boo is held from 5 to 8 p.m. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged!  Walk-up tickets will only be sold between 6:45 and 7:45 p.m.
