Make a deeper connection with the giraffes who call the Zoo home with a Giraffe Encounter! At each Encounter session, you’ll have the chance to feed a giraffe leaves — one of their favorite foods! — from atop a platform that overlooks the giraffe habitat. This is the perfect experience to take your Zoo visit to new heights.

The Giraffe Encounter is open Saturdays and Sundays in September in October. The sessions are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day. On
Zoo Boo event days, Encounters will only take place at 11 a.m. Each session has 50 tickets available. Tickets must be purchased onsite and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Feeding opportunities are subject to the giraffes’ appetites, weather and special events.
