CAMPS

Zookeeper Camps (Available for each grade level K-8)
Our Zookeeper Camps will introduce campers to the needs of animals and the complexities of animal care. Campers will have the opportunity to explore all types of animals and learn about health, behavior, nutrition and welfare. All of the camps will include an interaction with a zookeeper for an authentic experience and insider information.

Eco Camps (Available for each grade level K-8)
Eco Camps will allow campers to explore the roles they can play in conservation, from helping animals living in their own backyards to saving endangered species around the world! Campers will learn about current conservation projects and discover that they each have the power to make a difference.

Animal Welfare Workshop (Grades 9-12)
This week-long workshop will give high school students the unique chance to work with our Center for Zoo Animal Welfare (CZAW) team. Participants will explore the topic of zoo animal welfare by experiencing the Zoo through the eyes, ears, and noses of the animals. All students enrolled in this workshop will need to provide proof of a negative TB test within the past year in order to participate in special behind-the-scenes experiences throughout the week.

Twilight Trails Evening Camps (Grades 1-3 and 4-6)
Our Twilight Trails camps give children the opportunity to explore the Zoo after it closes for the night!

Single-Day Camps (Grades K, 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6)
Single-Day camps are only offered the week of June 29- July 3. These camps cover some of our favorite topics from the Eco Camps as well as dinosaurs! Different camps are available each day of the week.
