The ZooMORE! package is our best value. It covers general admission and includes 4 tickets that can be used on our rides and attractions - all at a savings of up to $8 per person. ZooMORE! tickets can be used at Dinosauria, on the Simulator Ride, the 4-D Theater, the Carousel, or a one-way ride on the Tauber Family Miniature Railroad.

You can mix and match your attraction choices - for example, ride the train twice if you wish or see both 4-D films. Currently we are featuring Sea Monsters 4-D A Prehistoric Adventure and Rio 4-D Experience in the 4-D theater. The Simulator Ride is showing Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Gift Memberships

Membership has its privileges. A Detroit Zoo membership provides a year's supply of "Vitamin Z" with free daytime admission and parking to the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Zoo, discounts at Zoo gift shops and many other benefits. Prices range from $53 to $160. Residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties receive $10 off all categories and can purchase up to four gift memberships at the discounted rate. Group admission rates valid during regular Zoo hours. The Detroit Zoo is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Parking may be paid in advance or at Main Admissions. Hours and prices are subject to change without notice.

School Groups
School rates are available September 2 – June 11.  Please see Group Admission Pricing for July and August reservations.

School Group Rates (Nursery/Pre-school - College)
Groups receiving School Group admission rates must provide one adult (18+ years old) chaperone per ten (10) students, and chaperones must stay with students at all times regardless of age. Students found without a chaperone will be held in the Security Office.

Field Trip Experience: $2 per person, not including admission.
