(Ursus arctos horribilis)
Two brother grizzly bears, Boo and Thor, currently call the Detroit Zoo home.
Boo and Thor — along with their late brother, Mike (2011-2024) — were rescued in 2011 after being orphaned in the Alaskan wild. They later moved to the Detroit Zoo, where they grew and thrived. Today, Boo and Thor enjoy swimming and playing in their expansive habitat.
