Rockhopper Penguin
(Eudyptes chrysocome)
Named for their ability to jump off cliffs and hop on land, rockhopper penguins can be identified by yellow feathers extending backwards from their eyebrows. Male rockhoppers can produce “penguin’s milk” for hatchlings if no other food is available.
