Ignite positive change at a Detroit Zoo Blood Drive!
Did you know that one in seven hospital patients needs blood? You can help meet this need by donating during one of our blood drives*, hosted in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan. As a thank you, each guest who donates will earn ONE FREE ticket to the newest attraction, Dragon Forest!
Drives will be held inside the Ford Education Center’s second-floor Freezing/Dark Studio.
Dates & Times:
- Wednesday June 11, 2025 – FEC: Freezing / Dark: 10am – 2:30pm
- Wednesday, July 16, 2025 – Freezing / Dark
- Wednesday, August 13, 2025 – Freezing / Dark
- Wednesday, December 17, 2025 – Freezing / Dark
*Guests must purchase Zoo admission to enter the Zoo and participate in the blood drive. Members may enter the Zoo free of cost.
**Ticket is valid for daytime admission to the Detroit Zoo through Dec. 31, 2025. Ticket cannot be redeemed for special events.
