Ignite positive change at a Detroit Zoo Blood Drive!

Did you know that one in seven hospital patients needs blood? You can help meet this need by donating during one of our blood drives*, hosted in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan. As a thank you, each guest who donates will earn one ticket** to the Detroit Zoo!

Drives will be held inside the Ford Education Center’s second-floor Freezing/Dark Studio.

Dates & Times:

• 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 26
• 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 14
• 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 11
• 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 16
• 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13
• 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17

*Guests must purchase Zoo admission to enter the Zoo and participate in the blood drive. Members may enter the Zoo free of cost.
**Ticket is valid for daytime admission to the Detroit Zoo through Dec. 31, 2025. Ticket cannot be redeemed for special events.
