Compost for a Cause
Greenfest guests can take home a free 2-gallon bucket of Zoo Poo — a nutrient-rich compost made from recycled waste, including manure, bedding and food scraps from the Zoo. This eco-friendly mix is perfect for your garden! Pick up yours near the Zoo exit while supplies last.
Give Back at Greenfest
Looking to recycle old or unwanted electronics? Recycle them at the Zoo during Greenfest! Our annual E-Recycling Event takes place in our 10 Mile Road parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon April 12-13. As a thank you for responsibly recycling your electronics, you can earn a free ticket to the Zoo!
