Wild Winter

January 18 and February 1 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.Free with admission

Bundle up for a “wild” visit to the wintery acres of the Detroit Zoo!

The fun begins with a scavenger hunt starting in the warmth of the Wildlife Interpretive Gallery. This scavenger hunt will highlight many animals that are most active in the colder months, including gray wolves, Japanese macaques, tigers, camels, polar bears, arctic foxes and red pandas. It will also explore the many indoor viewing areas the Zoo has to offer. Each animal-focused hint on this scavenger hunt will track down a new detail to add to a craft. Finish the scavenger hunt to complete the craft! Wild Winter also features educational activities, storytelling, zookeeper talks and feedings.
