Detroit Zoo Offsite Parking Information
Offsite parking has its perks!
Free parking and shuttle
We can’t wait to see you at Zoo Boo!
Due to the pleasant forecast that is expected, we are anticipating a large number of guests attending this event and are pleased to offer an alternative parking location.
In the instance that parking on Zoo grounds is unavailable and at capacity, the Detroit Zoo has arranged a free shuttle that will take you to and from Zoo Boo.
PARK OFFSITE AND RECEIVE:
- Free parking/shuttle: All guests, regularly $8 per vehicle
OFFSITE PARKING LOCATION:
Oakland Community College Parking Structure
739 S. Washington St. Royal Oak, MI 48067
From the Zoo:
1. Turn North on Woodward Ave.
2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto S. Washington
3. Travel North East on S. Washington
4. Enter parking garage on the right (S.E. corner of Lincoln and Washington Ave.)
PLEASE NOTE: Oakland Community College parking structure closes at 6:45 p.m. Vehicles MUST depart before 6:45 p.m. to avoid after-hours fee.
FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE INFORMATION:
1:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Final shuttle departs the Zoo at 6:30 p.m.
- Final shuttle departs the Oakland Community College parking structure at 5 p.m.
- Oakland Community College parking structure closes at 6:45 p.m.
- Vehicles MUST depart before 6:45 p.m. to avoid after-hours fee.
