In observance of Veterans Day, the Detroit Zoological Society (DZS) invites active U.S. military and veterans, along with one guest, to enjoy free admission and parking at the Detroit Zoo on Friday, November 11, 2016.

The offer applies to those who present valid identification confirming active military status, honorable discharge and/or retirement (including Form DD-214).

The DZS last year was designated as a bronze-level Veteran Friendly Employer by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency in recognition of its commitment to supporting veterans of the U.S. military.
