Virtual Classroom Chats

Are you ready to explore the animal kingdom from the comfort of your classroom?

Our zoo web chats connect your class with our knowledgeable animal care staff and allow your students to ask all their burning questions about their favorite animals.

During the chats, you’ll have the opportunity to see and learn about a variety of species, from the majestic Amur tigers and graceful giraffes to colorful amphibians and fascinating birds. Our animal care specialists will provide insights into the behaviors, habits and characteristics of these intriguing animals and share their own personal experiences working with them. But that’s not all! In addition to learning about the animals, you’ll also have the chance to see them up close and personal through live video feeds from areas of their habitats most guests don’t get to see. This is a truly immersive experience that your students won’t forget. Join us for our virtual zoo web chats and discover the magic of the animal kingdom at the Detroit Zoo.
