Crowned Lemur

(Eulemur coronatus)

Crowned lemurs are named for the triangular, crown-like patch of fur on their foreheads. The Detroit Zoo is home to one crowned lemur, Lenny, who joined a group of red ruffed and ring-tailed lemurs in July 2024.
