Kalter-Lezotte Fund for Wildlife Rescue
Give rescued wildlife a chance! Mr. Alan Kalter and Dr. Chris Lezotte made a generous gift in 2012 to establish the Kalter/Lezotte Fund for Wildlife Rescue. Since then, the fund has enabled the DZS to rescue many animals and provide long-term homes for them at the Detroit Zoo. Your contribution will help ensure this lifesaving work continues.

Ron Kagan Endowment for Animal Welfare

Amazon Rainforest Adopt-A-School Program
Preserve the rainforest, one child at a time! The Adopt-A-School program, in collaboration with CONAPAC, provides schools
along the Amazon River in Iquitos, Peru with much-needed supplies. Since 1999, the Detroit Zoological Society has partnered in this conservation effort. Donations help children attain an education and encourage rainforest protection.
