Giraffe

(Giraffa camelopardalis)

The Detroit Zoo is home to four giraffes: females Zara and Kivuli, and males, Mpenzi and Jabari. Giraffes are the tallest land mammals in the world, known for their long legs and necks, narrow faces and two fur-covered horns, called ossicones, that crown their heads.
