Gray Wolf

(Canis lupus)

Gray wolf coats can range in color — from gray to red to black to white. These mammals resemble domestic dogs, but with longer legs, larger feet and narrower chests. Male Kaskapahtew, known as Kaska, was born in 2010 and arrived at the Detroit Zoo in 2015. Female Renner, born in 2016, joined Kaska in 2019.
