Schmidt's Monkey

(Cercopithecus ascanius schmidti)

Known for their white noses and long tails, Schmidt’s monkeys are native to central Africa. Two Schmidt’s monkeys moved to the Detroit Zoo in 2024 — Nafis, born June 8, 2015, and Nhala, born Aug. 20, 2012.
