Sonoran Spiny-Tailed Iguana

(Ctenosaura macrolopha)

Sonoran spiny-tailed iguanas typically have a predominantly black coloration, with some individuals exhibiting black bands along their dorsal surfaces. Many also feature black mottling on their backs. Notably, these iguanas possess tails adorned with rows of sharp, curved spines.
