Birds in Art Fifty

Art that soars!

See art take flight in this summer’s temporary exhibit, Birds in Art, at the Detroit Zoo! This internationally renowned exhibition from the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum celebrates its 50th anniversary with 60 original paintings, sculptures and graphics from contemporary artists across the globe. Explore the hands-on interactives, children’s reading nook and art that inspires.

Birds, in all their majesty and fragility, connect us with the natural world. They remind us that every species has a story, and each story reminds us why conservation matters.

Don’t miss your chance to see these winged wonders before the exhibit flies to another gallery!
