Goat Encounter Yard

Enter the yard where you'll meet the goat herd. Engage even further by brushing the curious goats and watching them climb and play.

Meet some of the animals who help connect us to the wonders of wildlife. The Goat Encounter Yard inside Fred and Barbara Erb Discovery Trails is a great space to learn about these mammals up close. We encourage you to brush and pet them, see their routines and watch them play.

Before Your Visit

To ensure the health and well-being of the animals in our care, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please respect the goats’ space and interact only with goats inside the Encounter Yard.
  • Follow all posted signage and staff instructions.
  • No food or drink allowed.
