Celebrate Educator Appreciation Week with the Detroit Zoo!
Teachers help shape the next generation of animal lovers and conservationists, and we want to say thank you by offering educators the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to the Zoo, all week long!
But it gets better - for every ticket purchased through this special page, $2 will support classrooms where funds may be limited to visit the Zoo through our Day at the Zoo program. This program gives students, who otherwise wouldn’t be able to visit the Zoo, an opportunity to experience immersive, hands-on learning activities - all free of charge, including admission and transportation.
Other details:
- Discounted, general admission Detroit Zoo tickets are available for purchase May 4-8.
- Tickets cost $12.
- Tickets will be redeemable from May 4 through Dec. 31, 2026.
- Up to six (6) discounted tickets may be purchased per transaction.
- 1,000 discounted tickets are available per day, May 4-8. Once tickets are sold out for a particular day, teachers may check the next day for available tickets, up until May 8.
