A Tradition That Crosses Borders

Each spring, we celebrate Victoria Day by welcoming our Canadian neighbors for a day of exploration and togetherness at the Detroit Zoo. On Monday, May 18, Canadian cash will be accepted at par for onsite general admission and membership purchases.

This tradition honors the deep connections between our border communities and invites all guests to experience a place where nature knows no boundaries.

A Note on Currency

Per value acceptance is limited to cash payments in Canadian dollars for onsite admission and membership purchases only. All other purchases must be made in U.S. currency or by credit card.
