Yoga for a Purpose

Your participation in Winter Yoga at the Zoo supports the Detroit Zoo’s mission. Every stretch, breath and pose contributes to conservation and care — in your body and the world it inhabits.

At the Detroit Zoo, animals have the freedom to decide where they want to spend time within their habitats — whether indoors, outdoors or in hidden areas. Although habitats will be open during your visit, some animals may choose to stay out of sight. Thank you for understanding and supporting our commitment to providing the highest level of care for the animals at the Zoo.

Yoga sessions are coed and limited to guests ages 13 years and older. Guests under the age of 18 require parental consent to participate. Guests must be at least 16 years old to attend without a parent or guardian.

Yoga at the Zoo is a rain or shine event. All locations are subject to change.
