Free with Zoo admission I Free for members

Help us jumpstart the Detroit Zoo’s 95th anniversary celebration!

We’re so excited about our 95th anniversary, we’re opening the Zoo an hour early! We’ve partnered with country radio station 99.5 WYCD to bring you a morning filled with unique animal experiences.

This one-of-a-kind event shows how our incredible animal care team manages the animals’ morning routines and gets them ready to see visitors each day. After the morning festivities end, stick around to take advantage of exclusive 95th-anniversary food and beverage deals, membership offers and more!

To make this morning even more enticing, our first 95 guests will receive a free anniversary plush, the first 95 non-member guests will receive free admission and the first 995 people in the door will receive a free one-way ride on the Tauber Family Railroad! Please note the train will open at 9 a.m.
