See how art and nature are stitched together at the Detroit Zoo!

Our newest art exhibition, Fur, Fangs, Feathers and Fins, presents the work of 43 esteemed female artists from six countries. Each piece utilizes quilting techniques and fabrics to depict wildlife in their natural habitats — from amphibians to apex predators. With each visit, you will delve into the intricate beauty and patterns of animals and the natural world through contemporary fiber art.

Created by Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc., this exhibition is displayed in the Ford Education Center’s second-floor gallery. Don’t miss this remarkable showcase of wildlife-inspired artwork!
