Gardening
The Zoo, home to expansive habitats and award-winning buildings throughout 125 acres, is enhanced by our awe-inspiring landscape. Gardening volunteers are essential in the beautification of the Zoo and help enrich the experience for all.
Our application process is now closed. If you are interested in volunteering for our fall and winter special events – Run Wild, Zoo Boo or Spooky Spirits, please email volunteer@dzs.org. Volunteer Orientation sessions will resume spring 2024.
