This installment of Detroit Zoo: Through The Lens will be a presentation by local wildlife conservation photographer, Thomas Kachelmeyer.
Thomas has over 40 years of experience in the field. His wildlife photography adventures have taken him to Maryland, Montana, Wyoming, the mountains of British Columbia and, of course, all over our Great Lakes State. Currently, he volunteers his wildlife photography skills to document wildlife habitats for the USFWS Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. Tom also volunteers his time as a Focus: HOPE Excel mentor in photography.
For Detroit Zoo: Through The Lens, Tom will be presenting his work and discussing composition, lighting and what it takes to photograph breathtaking wildlife images.
