    To make a group reservation call (248) 541-5717, ext. 3300, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Discount does not apply to orders placed by phone.

    Group admission rates valid during regular Zoo hours. The Detroit Zoo is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Parking may be paid in advance or at Main Admissions. Hours and prices are subject to change without notice.

    • Group reservations must be made at least 30 days prior to your visit.
    • To make a reservation, please fill out the form below.
    • Please note that some days are not available due to special events or capacity limitations.
    • You will receive a confirmation statement with further instructions within one week from date received.

    The school group discount is only available during the traditional school year (after Labor Day through June 15, Monday – Friday).

    ** There are a limited number of ECVs available for rental.  Personal units are allowed and recommended.

    Single and double strollers, wagons, wheelchairs and Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECV) are available for rent at the Main Train Station (near the front of the park) and at the Africa Train Station (in the far corner of the park when the train is operating). Rented items cannot be taken on the Tauber Family Railroad.
